It sounds like YOU are more worried about not feeling the same when you see HIM.
Let me start off by saying, almost EVERY milso feels like this when their other half leaves for boot camp. I was more worried about, what if Chris doesn’t need me like he thought he did? Well, his time apart made us both realize just how much we need each other in all of this. We thought we appreciated each other BEFORE he left, lol we had a whole new appreciation for each other after we reunited. One thing I want to stress to you is that YOU will be the person he contacts the most. Especially if you two have been together for a long time. For now, don’t worry about the separation. You should be giving him all the hugs and kisses that you can while he is here! Treasure every moment, cherish every laugh. It does suck when he is away. But the first separation is the hardest. I promise it does get a little better (:
